Dueling Targets

Dueling Targets

This will be single elimination style bracketed tourney.  Dueling targets will flip from white to black when struck with enough force to move them.  Players may bring as much ammunition as they want to the shooting line, if a shooter crosses the shooting line with any foot, they are disqualified, leaning over is allowed.  Each shooter may declare a single competition page to retrieve ammunition for them.

1 player will be black, 1 player will be white.

Black player is trying to flip all targets to black,

White player is trying to flip all targets to white

Round is over if either of those conditions is met, or 5 minutes elapses.

Rounds ended due to time, whomever has the most targets of their color wins.

Rounds ended in a tie will be determined by coin flip who advances – shoot well, don’t leave it up to chance.

Relay Course

Relay Course

Each shooter is allowed a maximum of 12 projectiles.  If a projectile hits the ground for any reason it is considered spent.  Course will be 5 targets.  Targets must be struck in order.  After each target is struck, the shooter may advance to the next shooting line if they choose.  A player stepping across the shooting line has that shot nullified, and will receive a 30 second time penalty.

Each target struck will count as a stage advancement.

If multiple players tie for most targets struck, the first tie breaker will be the whom has the most ammo left, the second priority tie breaker will be the fastest time.

Incremental Range Adjustment

Stationary target with 2 zones, smaller bull’s-eye and outer zone.

Each shooter will get 3 shots at the stage to hit the target.  The best shot per stage is the only one that counts.

Shots striking the outer zone advance the shooter one stage

Shots striking the inner Bull’s-eye zone advance the shooter two stages

Each stage will move the shooting line back 20 feet.

If no one passes a stage, all shooters at that range will get 1 shot rotations to determine the overall winner.
